Causley is also impressed by Lally’s incredible industry experience. Lally was brought on board to Lightning Box after the internal promotion of Michael Maokhamphio to Operations Manager from account management.

Lally’s Impressive Pedigree

Mike Lally comes to Lightning Box with a wealth of experience in the iGaming industry. He has several years’ experience working in online gambling. He spent six years with OpenBet, rolling out over 1500 casino games for them. The company is one of the world’s leading online gambling operators with a huge following in terms of players. From OpenBet, Lally moved to Betdigital. This division of SG Digital has been growing and expanding for quite some time. Lally’s responsibilities were to grow the digital side of the business.

When speaking about his latest career move, he stated that he is happy to be able to bring his many business connections to Lightning Box. The company is already very successful, but these relationships that he has developed over the years will go a long way towards taking the company to the top of the industry as it continues to grow.

The Growth Of Lightning Box

Lightning Box has been around for 15 years already, and has become one of the leading game designers in the world for the online gambling industry. David Little and Peter Causley started the company back in 2004, after they left their jobs designing games at IGT and Aristocrat. They built an independent studio that creates multi-channel video pokies and supplies them to casinos around the world.

Lightning Box is currently pushing the expansion of their products into new regions. In 2018, they reached the North American market by extending a deal with SG Digital. Through this supply deal, the company is now able to see their games made available to players in the state of New Jersey. This is one of the most regulated iGaming markets, and Lightning Box is excited to have made the cut.
